May 17th marks the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. On this date, we remember the importance of visibility, respect, and the defense of the human rights of all LGBTQI+ people.
For Werk Room, this day represents the importance of continuing to create safe, inclusive, and discrimination-free spaces where the local community can exist, express itself, and celebrate itself with pride. In a territory where representation still makes a difference, each encounter, event, and gesture of support helps build a more united, diverse, and welcoming community.
We thank all the people, projects, and institutions that have been part of this movement so important for inclusion in the south.
