🏳️⚧️ Transgender November at Werk Room 🌈
This month we celebrate Transgender November, a period dedicated to the visibility, resistance, and pride of transgender and non-binary people. At Werk Room, we join this celebration with the conviction that art, expression, and the freedom to be are essential pillars of a more just society.
In Portugal, remembering and reinforcing this theme remains fundamental. Although we have made important progress, real challenges still exist: inequalities in access to healthcare, discrimination, prejudice, and lack of representation. Remembering Transgender November is acknowledging these struggles, but it is also celebrating all the achievements, stories, and lives that transform our country every day.
This month, we invite the entire community to listen, learn, support, and amplify transgender voices. May Werk Room always be a safe space, a place of empowerment and celebration of diversity. 🏳️⚧️✨
